Air Circuit Breaker is referred to as an ACB panel. An air circuit breaker's primary job is to automatically open the circuit in the event of a malfunction. There are many different kinds of faults, including reverse power, short circuits, under- or over-voltage, over-frequency, and earth faults. Air circuit breakers' primary benefit was that they totally replaced oil circuit breakers. The most basic type of air circuit breakers is the plain ACB. The shape of their point of contact is two horns. The breaker's arc in these kinds of circuits spans from one tip to the other. Breakers used in situations where the voltage capacity is up to 11KV are called magnetic blowout ACBs. In this kind of circuit, the current flowing through blowout coils creates a magnetic field that causes the arc to extend.
